Cody Saucier

CONSULTANT

Cody Saucier has developed a variety of experience in process management and analysis for projects in both private and public organizations. His experience includes developing process management flows for organizational assessment and evaluation, identifying operational improvement opportunities, analyzing current practice standards, and implementing best practice research from a variety of industries and regions. He also has extensive experience analyzing compensation and benefits packages for public and private institutions.

His recent work includes development of a plan to improve the Mission Effectiveness for the Diocese of Baton Rouge by identifying major processes and crafting applicable recommendations. In 2013, Cody worked with the City of Baton Rouge in the reorganization of the Department of Public Works, which included separating the department into six separate entities and finding new leadership for the newly-created departments.

Additionally, Cody’s experience includes working with St. Tammany Parish, DeSoto Parish, St. John the Baptist Parish, and Ascension Parish Governments to create Compensation and Benefits Studies for all employees of the Parishes. He also created a Compensation and Benefit Study for the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge Child Nutrition Program. Cody again worked with Ascension Parish on an Organization and Efficiency study which included analyzing each department and identifying areas for improvement. He helped craft recommendations based on the identified areas for improvement to create a more streamlined and efficient operation.

Other notable client engagements include working with the Jefferson Parish Permit and Code Enforcement Department, Engineering Department, and Planning Department to improve the building permit and inspection process. He also assisted the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners in their operational analysis of the Licensure Division and created process workflows for each individual license type.

Prior to joining SSA in 2013, Cody worked with developmental disabilities organizations to provide logistical support and volunteer coordination for fundraising events.

Cody graduated from Louisiana State University, where he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in history and political science.
