SSA to Lead Executive Search for Alma’s Next Controller

SSA Consultants has been selected to conduct the executive search for Alma's next Controller — a senior financial leadership role at one of Louisiana’s most storied agricultural enterprises.

Founded in 1846 and located in Lakeland, Louisiana, Alma is a working sugarcane operation. The Controller will serve as the senior financial leader of Alma’s main office, reporting directly to the General Manager, with significant responsibility across accounting, payroll, treasury, audit, and the full cane payment cycle during harvest season.

Alma hopes to welcome their next Controller in September 2026 or sooner.
