Baton Rouge, LA — The Baton Rouge Speech and Hearing Foundation honored Bill Slaughter, president of SSA Consultants, at its 41st Annual Volunteer Activists Award Luncheon May 4 at the Crowne Plaza, located at 4728 Constitution Ave.
Slaughter stood among 11 other honorees whom the Baton Rouge Speech and Hearing Foundation acknowledged for their leadership in volunteer service across Greater Baton Rouge.
Throughout his career, Slaughter has remained committed to philanthropy and volunteerism in the Capital Region area. He has supported numerous civic, cultural, and business organizations; and he serves on several boards including LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business Administration Dean Advisory Council, the Southeast Super-Region Committee, Roy O. Martin Lumber Company, Future Systems Incorporated, and Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area, as well as the advisory committee for IBERIABANK.
